Why do many of the items in your store come in neutrals; like white or black?  

Every piece in our collection is a testament to the rich tapestry of Australian wildlife, lovingly translated into stylish, comfortable and durable clothing for bubs, tots and kids.

We prefer gender neutral styles because this palette lets the animals, plants and flowers SHINE as they should. 

That said, select collections feature styles with a few more color options; such as our vibrant K is for Koala Pop collection and seasonal capsules. 

Common Shipping Concerns

Shipping costs differ based on the type and quantity of products in an order. We do our best to ship out all orders as soon as possible.

The estimated shipping time for addresses in the US is 3-4 days after the order has been fulfilled.

It (roughly) takes between 7-12 days from the day you place an order to receive it. Please allow extra time for orders placed during the busy holiday season.

Why do my orders take longer than a few days to arrive?

We are a small business and this product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you. 

Making our products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction for us, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions! We hope to work on reducing the total production and shipping time as we expand and grow.  :)

Do you offer FREE shipping?

Yes, we offer FREE standard shipping off MOST orders more than $50 within the United States. For certain products such as fragile or bulkier items (e.g. mugs, home decor, towels, backpacks, wall decals, picnic blankets and other specialty items), applicable shipping rates will be applied at cart.

For shipping to locations outside of the US, we apply local standard shipping rates to orders. 

Do you ship worldwide? 

We currently ship to the following countries outside of the US; Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Spain, U.K, Singapore.

Fabric care instructions

We pride ourselves on the durability of our products and we know you lead busy lives, so we have crafted them to be as easy and convenient to care for as possible. Here is a guide to optimal fabric care for most of our products. Please check individual care instructions on our garment tags.

  1. WASHING: – Turn shirt inside out. – Use cold water & wash with similar colors. – Wash on a gentle setting.
  2. DRYING: – Tumble dry on low or hang dry like we do in Australia.
  3. IRONING: – If ironing is necessary, make sure to turn the garment inside out.

Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell? 

Our products are printed with direct-to-garment (DTG) print technology, so you might notice a vinegar-like smell when you are first unpacking them. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent; it will go away after the first wash.

We highly recommend washing our products before your little ones wear them for the first time.  

Are the inks you use for printing safe for baby?

We create our prints with Kornit water-based and NeoPigment inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. These inks also provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4 which means the prints won’t fade easily.  

For the all-over prints in our K is for Koala Activewear collection we use Mimaki Dye Sublimation Ink Sb411 and Sawgrass SubliJet HD ink. Both of these inks are also Oeko-Tex™ certified.

No Refund Policy

1. All Sales Are Final: At K is for Koala, we take pride in providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Once a purchase is made, it is considered final, and we do not offer refunds or exchanges unless otherwise stated in a separate policy for specific products or circumstances.

2. Defective or Damaged Items: In the unlikely event that you receive a defective or damaged item, we want to make this right. Please contact our customer support team within 30 days of receiving your order. We will work diligently to resolve the issue by offering a replacement or a store credit, as appropriate.

3. Order Cancellation: We understand that situations may arise where you need to cancel your order. Please note that we can only process cancellations if your order has not yet been fulfilled. Once an order has been fulfilled, it cannot be canceled, and our standard no refund policy applies.

4. Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a replacement for a defective or damaged item as per our policy, the cost of shipping will not be included.
